Cleanup Until Midnight???

For all of you wonderful people who hear about a wedding and think to yourself, "Awesome! I can't wait to help set everything up and then stay until midnight cleaning up by gathering dirty tablecloths, stacking chairs, rolling official church tables to the closet, and then mopping the floor!" we have some bad news. We have decided to rent a reception hall. You can't stop us now, we already put a deposit down. And so you are just going to have to come, get a couple of refreshments, sit down, relax, talk with friends and family, visit with people you just met, and then drive home or wherever you are staying for the night. Please refrain from trying to clean up. Someone else will do that.
This is the place: the Smoot Hall at This is the Place Park near Emigration Canyon in Salt Lake City. It is a replica of a Pioneer-era historical building, the Brigham Young Academy, precursor to The BYU. It is a nice, peaceful area with wild animals roaming about every so often, overlooking the Salt Lake Valley, up against the mountains near the canyon. You will be able to wander through the park during the reception if you or kids want to. It will be great!

Hey Guys! Dang Michael! That's really jerky of you to not let me return the favor and clean up for 5 hours like you did at my wedding! Too bad...I'll have to think of something else to do...I think I have something in mind, but you'll just have to wait and see! Whoo hoo! Congrats on finding a place!

No basketball hoops, stages or family members running to and from the kitchen!?! Is this a Mormon wedding or not? j/k. good idea, see there are perks when you wait until you are a real adult before getting married. Congrats!!
