Jonathan Update - About Two Months Late

It has been a crazy summer, here are some updates.

Jonathan did in fact have his 4 month check up on time, I have just been a little late in posting about it.

Stats:

Length - 26 in 85%
Weight - 16.69 lbs in 82%
Head - 16.5 in 42%

Things Jonathan loves to do these days...

• Grow his teeth much sooner than he really needs them. (Two of them before his fifth month.)
• Roll over... and over and over. (He has been doing this since three months.)
• He still loves to talk, talk and talk. Especially while we are driving in the car.
• Reading his scriptures every morning before 1st nap. He also loves when we read him anything we happen to be reading at the time.
• Take 3 naps during the day... this kid can sleep.
• Sleeping all night long... he has been doing this since he was three months. (Lets be honest, I probably love it more than he does.)
• When we play the guitar and sing to him.
• His Nellie the elephant toy. (To Bombay...)
• Our ceiling fans and is constantly entertained by them.
• Going for walks or pretty much anything outside.
• Hanging out with his dad while Michael is doing yard work.
• Spending time with his friends... even though he gets pretty shy.
• Swimming... most of the time.

Things Jonathan does not like too much...

• Not getting the attention he feels he is so deserving of... which of course he is.
• Still not a huge fan of burping time.
• 2nd nap. He's really tired but won't fall asleep without being wrapped up tight.
• Being wrapped up tight. He won't let us wrap him anymore except for 2nd nap.
• Shots, but who does really?!

He is getting so big so fast. The nurse at the doctors office asked if my husband was tall. I laughed and told her that Michael was in fact quite short. She then asked if my brothers were tall. I answered yes, my side of the family is very tall. She then said Jonathan was going to be tall like my brothers... so much for trying to shrink the gene pool. We are having so much fun with our little small fry. What an amazing blessing to have such a good healthy kid. We are both so in love with him we can hardly stand it. It's funny because we both have to check on him at least 3 times before we go to bed at night. He instantly won our hearts, what a sweet boy.
