With the sound of music. Last Thursday was the MoTab's (Mormon Tabernacle Choir) dress rehearsal up at the Deer Valley venue. (This is an outdoor concert series at a ski resort in Utah.) Since we are poor and have a four-month-old, we decided to head up since it was free. There were stops and starts as they worked on the songs but it was well worth the trip. The best was as they practiced The Star Spangled Banner. We all stood as they started then sat down as they finished. They needed to practice the first couple of measures again and started over. People were confused as to whether to stand or not... everyone was half way up as they stopped practicing that song. Jonathan loved being outside and really enjoyed the music as well. He did great until about nine, when he is usually getting ready for bed. We packed up and headed home. It really was a great night!

I love free concerts. I hear they have one's here in San Fran every Friday night. All the music is supposed to be family friendly, plus you get to be all uppity and such with the San Fran crowd. So come and visit ;)
