Baby Shower, Baby Shower, Baby Shower...great

On Friday, 26 Feb 2010, Kim and I travelled up to Salt Lake City for the weekend. This weekend was packed full of baby showers - well, two of them. Saturday afternoon we had a family baby shower in Lehi, sponsored by Kim's sisters-in-law Nikki and Jenna. They did a great job decorating, and the food was great, and the many gifts we received were great. Family came from both my side and Kim's side.

Then we headed north, up to our friend Candice's condo in Salt Lake City. She was sponsoring a baby shower for Friends of Kim. The fajitas they were making looked great, but I left to go hang out with Jose and Elias, and Amy and Kenneth and Danny. Kim had fun at the baby shower being with her friends and just getting to visit with them. The rest of us went to Memory Grove Park / City Creek Canyon to geocache. We found the hidden prize after an eventful hike along the path; through the mud; along slick, trecherous cliffs with the river below and the wall on the right. We all made it safely. Good times.

Sunday we went to our ward where Analee and Jose were speaking in church so we got to watch Lil' Eli. Afterwards we visited some more with them and then went to Kim's Mom's house for Family Dinner.

Monday, after having a good rest the night before, we drove back to Las Vegas and unpacked the things that we brought back with us.

Then the next Saturday on 13 March, Kim's friend Alison threw another baby shower here in Las Vegas with those from church. Here they brought something used that they no longer need, or diapers, though the diapers are new - not used.

Thank you all for the many things that we received from everyone! We got all sorts of clothes, diapers, wipes, and blankets, and they are all so great. Thanks again for coming out to see us. We had a great time seeing everyone.
