The one thorn in our side happens to be our apartment. This place was made for one and Michael filled it to the brim when he was the sole occupant. The cramped quarter’s conundrum has plagued us since even before our holy matrimony occurred. It all started when I started moving in. We have tried and tried to make it work. There have been numerous suggestions and don’t get me wrong, some of them have worked but the fact of the matter is the apartment is still the same size. Well, we finally came up with the perfect solution. A dresser! This would be our first major purchase together and we were ready. Marital bliss here we come! We hopped into our Camry and headed down the freeway to IKEA. The dresser was purchased and put together. Once it was completed we realized it was a beautiful dresser but didn’t really solve the same problem we had been faced with since the beginning of time… our at least our time together. We love the dresser. Our apartment is still small but we are learning to live with it. And we really couldn’t be happier.

It's about time you guys posted something new! I was getting worried! P.S. I like the dresser. P.P.S. If you need more room, maybe you should give some of your wedding presents to us...especially the cash...I'm sure we could find a place to store it for you.

Ah, apartment life, true newlywed style. I actually don't mind the small spaces...it gives me a great excuse to get rid of stuff...and I LOVE getting rid of stuff. There's this awesome website called unclutterer.com that talks about small living spaces and reducing clutter. They have some great ideas. Maybe that'll help you out of your cramped quarters fix.
Guess it's time to start house hunting, eh? Isn't the apartment lease up in July? If it isn't house buying time yet at least you could look for a bigger apartment. Or a storage unit. :)
