A Night with a Needle

While we have probably had too many nights here with needle use across the street it was finally our turn to spend a night with a needle... The Space Needle. I'm sure Michael has all of the facts you would ever want to know about the Space Needle, I have the details of our visit.

We started out by making reservations at that rotating restaurant. It was a little over our budget but since Michael's office was picking up the tab we decided to splurge. We under dressed once again, but I guess it's our niche now. We ordered pretty much whatever we wanted to order. I decided I needed to try the fish... just for the Halibut! For those of you that don't know me I am not what you would call a "fish" person. In fact I really don't like seafood at all. I decided I needed to expand my taste buds several years ago. My goal was to eat at least something the area was know for when visiting... so I also ordered a coffee to finish off dinner. (I promise I did not order or consume coffee, I can't even drink Coke because of the buzz.) Michael ordered the Prime Rib. Everything was tasty! (I even finished all of my fish... pat my back.) We finished off with the Lunar Orbit dessert.

After finishing up dinner we headed up to the upper deck for the view. The view was great with fun interactive activities. We figured the longer we spent up there the less our dinner cost would hurt. 4 1/2 hours after arriving at the Space Needle we headed home. I think we got our money's worth with plenty of memories in between.

We also found out a lot of history about the Needle. Like when the sun goes down the ghost come out. In fact we were able to get several pictures. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

You can't wait that long in-between posts and then post so many....seriously I think it took me 1/2 hour to read the newest update. OK maybe it took that long because I was trying to concentrate and run interference between Chloe/Kate, Chloe/Alec, Chloe/everything :)
