San Francisco Day 3

This day was full of adventure around town. We went down Lombard Street, and then tried to find parking downtown to go to H&M, Kim's favorite clothing store. We did find parking, some 6 blocks away. The change that we had would only get us 52 minutes. So that was 52 minutes to park, run down to the store, find a few clothing items, try them on, and run back to the car. And somehow we actually made it.

We then went to the Japanese Tea Garden at Golden Gate Park. It was a very nice, ornate, peaceful garden, except that due to New Years Eve there were tons of tourists there. Why do there really need to be so many tourist there when we happen to be touring around?

Perhaps the best of this day was Jones Street. Now, we don't really know if Jones St is the steepest in town, but it sure was steep, and we had wandered around all over this place the past couple of days, and it was our favorite. The video just doesn't do justice, but you could not see the cross street until you were up and over that lip. The way down you couldn't see the road until you were actually going down. So fun! We were laughing as we just drove up and down, over and over again.
