Jonathan is Growing Up

Jonathan will be a year old next month. I can't believe the time has gone by so fast. As my mom always says, "Next thing you know he will be going to work and driving his motorcycle to get there." (Where does she come up with these things?!) It has been so fun to see all of the things he has learned to do. It seems like he has really started to change daily. What a crazy but enjoyable ride...

He has always been a good eater... as shown by his kissable chubby self.

He loves to jump.

He's a crawler. Because of our hardwood floors he is still an army crawler. But this helps him to maneuver under the table and chairs.

He stands anywhere and everywhere he can get up. This took me by surprise the first time as he hoisted his little body up to the standing position. It took me so much by surprise that he toppled over before I realized he had done it all by himself.

Sitting up was also a shock. I would try to get him from laying on the ground or standing to the sitting position to no avail. Then one day I went to retrieve him after his nap and this is what I found.

Now that he has learned to do so many new things he wants to be just like his daddy.
