We visited the Center of the Universe--small location of The Artist's Republic of Fremont here in Seattle. Supposedly they wanted to break off and become their own state--figure that one out. But they have all sorts of interesting artworks there. Here are photos of each work shown in their little walkabout pamphlet:

The Fremont Troll under the Washington Bridge - just plain bizaare.
And guess who was there when we showed up but the local young women's group. Kim called it right away, but it was confirmed when one of the girls said "Sister (name here)" and they drove away in a Minivan.
